Curious About Your Stimulus Check?

Today, April 15th 2020, a big wave of stimulus checks were deposited into bank accounts all over America.

However, many who would qualify have not received it yet. The IRS has provided a system for allowing people to check the status of their stimulus payment.

Click this link and get taken to the IRS Site. Get My Payment

We have heard that some people enter their information and it says “According to information that we have on file, we cannot determine your eligibility for a payment at this time.”
We are unsure why this is happening. We recommend you check back the next day to see if there are any changes.

If you have filed a 2018 or 2019 return and did not enter bank information, the IRS is planning to roll out the option for people to enter their information to be able to receive the stimulus faster. However we have not seen  it yet.

For those who are non-filers, meaning you:

  • Did not file a 2018 or 2019 federal income tax return because your gross income was under $12,200 ($24,400 for married couples).
    • This includes people who had no income.
  • Or weren’t required to file a 2018 or 2019 federal income tax return for other reasons.
  • Do not receive Security retirement, disability (SSDI)
  • Or survivor benefits Retirement and Survivor Benefits

Need to enter their information here

Here is the IRS Economic Impact Payment FAQ page if you have any other questions or call (800) 919-9835.

Hoping that more information and clarity come soon.
