Tax Deadlines

Everyone always knows that there are tax deadlines, but are you sure you know them all?

January 31st: all 1099’s have to be sent out to contractors.

March 15th: S Corporations and Partnerships must be filed or extended

April 15th: C Corporations (1041’s) estates/trusts, (1040’s) Personal Returns. This is also the first quarter estimated payment due date. However, QBO often recommends skipping this payment. It is often misapplied and can be very problematic. The amount can be added on to the second payment date or can be averaged out over the next three payment dates.

May 15th: Non-profits (990’s) with a calendar year end.

June 15th: 2nd estimated payment for personal tax

September 15th: 3rd estimated payment, extended S Corporation and Partnership

October 15th: extended Personal (1040), Trusts (1041), and C Corporations.

January 15th: of following year: 4th estimated payment due.

QBO is here to help with any and all of your tax needs.
